Gift Card Box and Cards
This is the project we are doing for Stamp Camp next Tuesday. I found a box pattern on Splitcoast Stampers. It is the A2 card box.
It is really easy and a nice way to create a gift set of cards. I used Kiwi Kiss cardstock and stamped the rose from the Fifth Avenue Floral Stamp set on the top of the box. You can see I also punched out the eyelet scallop around the edge...love that punch! For the cards I simply used Whisper White cardstock as my base and layered Kiwi Kiss and Baja Breeze cardstock to create the background for the Fifth Avenue flowers stamped out of the same color ink. A fun little cordoroy button on one card and a button from the Button Bouquet embellished the cards. The striped grograin ribbon in the same colors adorns each card. The scallop oval punch pops out a little greeting. These were so fast and simple to assemble. Hope my girls like them!

A Joy Thought
This morning I read this and it expresses my heart today! Psalm 92:4 "You thrill me, Lord, with all you have done for me! I sing for joy because of what you have done." It is the everyday things that fill me with joy...talking with a friend, hearing about a prayer that has been answered, seeing the Lord take me through a stretching time..with a thankful heart, the anticipation right now of that new little grandson who will enter our lives soon! My heart is singing today~

Gift Bags and notecards!
The following gift bags and notecard are for thank you gifts for the leadership women who helped with our retreat, which is this weekend! The little bag has 2 pockets to insert the notecards and envelopes. This set uses Fifth Avenue Floral set and the scallop oval punch and eyelet punch. To make the bag go to Splitcoaststampers and under resources find the Double Pocket Bag. It uses one piece of 12 by 12 designer papaer. The following posts show off the other designs I created.

Thoughts and Prayers
This is a new sstamp set called "Thoughts and Prayers." I used Old Olive cardstock and the Level One Hostess Pack of 6x6 designer papers, this one being Regal Rose. I colored the stamp with Regal Rose and Old Olive markers. I love this set because it is full of encouraging phrases.

Cheep Talk!
I wanted to share this darling stamp set called "Cheep Talk." It goes with the "Good Morning Sunshine" Designer Paper and the Pacific Point card stock ( one of the In Colors). I thought you would enjoy seeing a couple ideas, not my own, but from fellow Stampin Up demonstrators who submitted these cards to the Stampin Up Demonstrator web site. I want this set!

Thank you for the Cross
He Is Risen!
I love making this kind of fold, especially for this Easter card. It's like looking into the open tomb and finding Jesus has Risen! I pray your Easter is reflective of the true meaning.

The Patch Work Look!
I have been seeing lots of this patchwork look and had to try it. It is so easy! You can use a square punch or just cut out squares 1 1/2 inches by 1 1/2 inches and tape down on a 4 by 5 inch piece of white cardstock. The Stampin Up double sided designer papers are perfect. This happens to be the paper from the Sale A Bration catalog. Put the finished patchwork through the Big Shot using the Top Note Die and...voila! I put little stitches of blue marker around each patch. The Top Note is taped to Bashful Blue cardstock. To top it off I used the NEW scallop punch found in the new mini catalog and the new punch stamp set as well, punched out of the large oval punch. I colored in the flowers with So Saffron marker.
This is a simple card but has that wow factor! Order online through my Stampin Up! website...just click and you are there!

Love these busy bees!
This stamp set is growing on me! It is a great set to water color, or stamp in brown or black on another color cardstock and use markers or watercolor pens to highlight the image. The top note die creates a nice background.
Combining 2 Sets Can be Fun!
"Just Buzzin By" and "Upsy Daisy" combine to make such a cute card. The saying is from "Flight of the Butterfly." The daisey's are made using the "rock n roll" technique. You place your stamp on a lighter shade, and then,on another darker color, roll the edge of the stamp all around the image to create this two tone effect.
